This website has been created to serve as a platform for communication and information exchange on the topic of water and cultural diversity.


By accessing "The Water and Cultural Diversity Database and Community of Practice" (hereinafter "we", "us", "our", "The WCD CoP"), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms, please do not access and/or use "The WCD CoP". The terms may be changed at any time and all efforts will be made to inform members, however, it is suggested that you review them regularly as your continued usage of "The WCD CoP" after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

For the database, all information that you enter should be accurate and true, to the best of your knowledge. Personal information entered, other than those made public, will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, however, "The WCD CoP" shall not be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. By uploading documents or images, you are responsible for ensuring that copyright has not been infringed.


For the CoP, please use common courtesy and remember the golden rule: to treat other users the way you would like to be treated. You agree not to upload or post any abusive, obscene, offensive, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where "The WCD CoP" is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP addresses of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that we reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic when it is deemed that violations have been made.
